I didn't think carefully when I was in the process of making new GIVEAWAYS. I only thought about unique without realizing the meaning of GIVEAWAYS itself. (I'm sorry about that)
I slightly understand the reason for the Downvote, maybe because the rules are too complicated / troublesome for a "GIVEAWAYS". This may be different if the post is a RAFFLE (not GIVEAWAYS).
The second reason is that there are some participants who are used to just commenting "count me in, please!" or something like that to join the GIVEAWAYS.
BUT don't worry, the winner of "UPVOTE BUDGET (ALTER) day 1" will still be announced next week. Likewise with the winners for the 4th-21st Prize which I held last week.
About the Types of GIVEAWAYS for Next Week
That's why I ask for advice from all of you who have been following my GIVEAWAYS so far. Which GIVEAWAYS should I choose to hold next week (and weeks to come)
Back to the previous type (CHAOS LEGION CARDS GIVEAWAYS).
- Held 5 times a week
- 1 Winner
- (+) There is a chance to get a Legendary Card or Gold foil (this time I will not sell cards that cost more than $10)
- (-) there is a possibility that I can't buy 1 Chaos Legion Packs per week (if the amount of upvotes I receive every week is small or the price of Packs in the second market is no longer cheap). But I'll try.
do you miss me? Cheap Cards GIVEAWAYS (or maybe there's a better naming)
- Flexible (sometimes daily, sometimes only 5 times per week. Depends on "my condition")
- More than 1 winner (minimum 2 and can be more)
- (-) Cards are purchased directly from the market. So it's very unlikely (or even impossible) that the winner will get a Legendary Card.
- (+) the card chosen is a card that has a fairly affordable price. So no need to worry about the small number of upvotes each week.
Maybe you guys have other ideas (Write in the comments).
That's all I want to say for now. I sincerely apologize for this sudden announcement.
See you at GIVEAWAYS next week.....
Don't mind the haters. Any giveaway is awesome!
Cheers for the chance
Upvoted!

I guess it would depend on whether you would be able to actually acquire those packs/cards to be able to do a giveaway. I would think that if you are unable to sustain (1), my suggestion would be to alternate between (1) and (2), possibly alternating by weeks.
If you are alternating between them, I would think to come up with two visibly different post templates (different title, coloured images, etc.), so people would easily tell which type of giveaways you are doing. For example, red images/banners in (1) and green images/banners in (2).
An announcement post with image examples of the two formats would also be good.

Personally, I think that doing always the same giveaway brings the people to "ignore" the post itself, that's why there are simple comments (I'm one of the guilty ones).
My advice is to mix different types of giveaways/raffles, maybe when you giveaway common cards, it can be a simple "I'm in" giveaway, when you give away bigger prizes, there should be more rules...it could be helpful to slightly change the graphic, so people can notice that's there is something different from one giveaway to another and they will be interested in reading the "new rules" (or you could just write the rules in the graphic itself).
I think that you are doing a nice and kind job, so I'm sorry that you feel like this, but giveaways mostly attract "small" players and multi-account players, who just don't mind about anything else than winning cards for free.
I want to say thank you for all the effort and money you are putting into these giveaways, I wrote these advice only because you asked, I honestly think that you are doing a great job.
As you can see from the comments section, people are "distracted"
IMO... upvote is a sensitive issue, everyone has different opinion and perspective about it. No body is right nor wrong in this case, and its not about which is better or worse too.
The question is, what you want to achieve. Do you want to support the community? Do you want to build up your HP? Which player base would you like to pay attention?
I for myself like the chance on big wins, but dont habe the time to write loooong comments, everyday.
I may be inclined to put a bit of effort in a post to win a gopd price like the MuTerra Tamer Name / Tamer background challenge.
But this are challenges and nit giveaways.
Giveaways in my oppinion should be simple and fast to be done. But it is not possible to earn with them in the long run. Its support of smaller players.
1º Congrats for the achievement
2º I'm in, keep the good work
@fenrirthekeeper
well, if the choice N°1 is sustainable it's a no-brainer, ppl like big prizes, and grabbing them from CL packs differentiates your posts. but only you can know if it is the case.
I can see that with the bear market started, post rewards are less valuable, while pack prices remained stable, thus a self-sustained giveaway/raffle it's much more complicated to do. How far are you from your goal? Is it worth reaching it spending the difference between post-rewards and pack price once a week? If yes go for option 1 otherwise go for 2.

That specific one was really a bit too complicated for my personal taste, but hey! it is still a giveaway free to participate! ;) Keep up the good work! !PIZZA

Giveaways are tough. I also trying to think of a system that will entice some engagement and not simply a thanks and count me in response. I haven't come up with anything yet, but I will let you know of I think of anything and will be following you to see what you come up with. Thanks for the giveaways and don't let one downvote get you down.
count me i- errr i mean, potato...
You had only 1 downvote and his value is still pretty low to me (0.003) i don't think that ammount is really significant to change something big in the GA 🤔

It's a tough decision I think..
I would say a mix is a cool thing. For example one week giving away 3x cheap reward cards to 3x winners and another week you look for a rare chaos legion card and giving one away every day. But that is just a example.
It really boils down to what you want to do. Personally, I really liked the new format. Other people like other things more, and no one can ever escape that. No matter what anyone does, some people will like it, and some people won't. So, it's gotta come down to what you want to do, more than, if what you do pleases everyone. The second option just isn't going to happen.
In this case, the deciding factor seems to be whatever you are trying to achieve with your giveaways. If you are trying to never have a down vote (even a really silly one - like... "someone wants to try to give me something but I slap them for not giving it to me in my most preferred fashion" silly,) then you will want to change from this format. If you are trying to be different than all the other giveaways, then the new format does that. If you want to maximize your rewards from the posts, you probably need more time to see which format garners the highest rewards. If you are trying to have fun and amuse yourself, you should do what is most fun for you. If you have a different aim, then you will measure it differently. You get what I am driving at, I am sure.
If you want this to be a democracy (and I see no reason it should be), I vote that you not discontinue the new format.
But, I !LUV giveaways in any format, so I'll keep following you and participating no matter what you decide.

I think you should talk to the person who did that, maybe he had better explanation than what you are assuming. If the downvote is not much of value, then don't worry, maybe a bot did that!
Don't worry too much, just like there are good people and bad people in society, there are those with healthy minds and those with chaotic minds
i wanna punch that guy that downvoted what a kill joy
People that join many raffles tend to write the same thing copied. At the end the comment is just a ticket.
I think continue with CL
Also about the downvote, there are always people that won’t like what you do, even envy you because they didn’t had that idea before, so I will say keep going and just ignore the haters
