Last Chance: Land Plot Discounts

We have seen the price of land drop on Splinterlands to around $135 and it has been hovering around the $150-$160 range the past couple of weeks. But those prices are going to be a thing of the past... very soon.

We have had almost zero land updates for a few months, and all we really know is that an announcement is coming at Splinterfest.

We are also seeing a ton of action for other Splinterlands assets...

  • SPS is now given as part of rewards
  • DEC is no longer part of rewards
  • New Tower Defense game is coming out
  • Riftwatchers Pre-Sale is coming soon and can only use SPS

People are talking about a lot of things, and trying to pack their bags to get ready for these new updates.

But while the crowd is moving one way, there is opportunity in the other direction.

LAND

I recently sold some VeVe assets and moved that investment over to Splinterlands. I picked up another 5K staked SPS, packed my DEC bag and I picked up a few more pieces of land. Land being majority of my investment. I also picked up a common totem for each one.

Recently I sold 2 pieces of land to go towards getting my node. It took me 4 months to save up to go full node, but I got there. Now I'm focusing on land.

With big news and updates coming on Land in about a month, we could really see things start to pick up and the supply is pretty limited.

Not only land, I'm picking up totems where I can for prices that I like. I got a few for $18. I'm very happy with that price point.

So with so many people calling for people's attention right now, Land is kind of being forgotten.

And opportunity is betting where the attention will be and not FOMO'ing into where the attention is now.

Just my two cents...

I agree, the silence on land announcements is deafening. I think a prolonged crypto winter would cause the price of land to go down. It could squeeze some to sell, or a player wanting to buy towers or another part of the game. I think the non-card asset market is going to be a big one. If Land offers lots of items and buildings, it will cause people to sell land to buy buildings and items. I will pass on the towers and save up for more land.

I'm sorry I didn't reply to this sooner. I appreciate the comment. I hope you got your land!
