Cripple & Life leech is a powerful combo?!

Merdhampir (1).png

Hi, thank you for visiting this post! Today, I am going to talk about the combination of the ability cripple & life leech.

Currently, Merdhampir is the only card that has these 2 abilities at the same time. Everyone knows how life leech can be powerful but I feel like many people don't like cripple.

Right now, there's an unexpected behavior where you cleanse cripple, the hp crippled regained, which is the same effect as healing. So that's one reason why cripple is not very popular ability.

That being sayd, when you have cripple and life leech at the same time, it caused a very interesting behavior.

Merdhampir has life leech from the start. Cripple is gained at level 4, which is the silver league.

Cripple & Life leech interesting behavior

Normally, when a physical attack with life leech hits any armor, the attacker doesn't gain any health because it didn't decrease the monster's health. Some of you might have noticed by using Stich leech in life.

However, when merdhampir hits armor, it gains 1 health anyway (probably except the target monster has immunity) because it decreases the target's health by cripple.

Example battle

44 mana, little league, weak magic

Next thing to confirm

When Merdhampir hits a monster with immunity & armor, does that trigger dhampir's life leech and 1 hp gain? That'll be a really interesting to find out.

If you know the answer or happen to have an example battle that answers to this question, please let me know!
