Today, I'd like to share 2 battles that I used Angelic Mandarin.
Angelic mandarin gets triage from level 4 (silver league level) and it gets silence at level 8 (diamond/champion level)
I think it is a great card to have because triage is can heal backline monsters and silence sometimes is very useful when the opponent uses a lot of magic.

In this battle, I decided to magic spam with Vulnamor. Even when they have magic reflect, it's hard to kill attackers in equalizer because everyone has high health.
Whenever I use a lot of magic monsters, or whenever I use ruler of the seas, I'd like to add a monster with triage (usually I use Kelp initiate, Mermaid healer, or Angelic mandarin) so that magic attackers can stay alive longer.

You should expect magic reflect and return fire in keep your distance ruleset. Interestingly we add equal opportunity, everyone having opportunity ability. In equal opportunity, magic is expected because magic ignores armor and you might even one shot a monster with small hp.
Angelic mandarin is great because triage can heal monsters who got damage from magic reflect or return fire, also because it can decrease the opponent's magic damage.
In this match, angelic mandarin did a great job healing Posaidon's damage from return fire.
What Angelic Mandarin replaces
In my opinion, Angelic mandarin takes a role of old promo card Mermaid healer sometimes. Mermaid healer has +1 hp and cleanse but the biggest effect is often times triage.
They have the same mana, 3. Mermaid healer has 1 magic damage from level 3 but angelic mandarin has 2 archery damage at the highest level. So if 1 magic attack, +1 hp and cleanse is more preferable than 2 archery damage, silence, then mermaid healer is beter, otherwise, angelic mandarin is better.
The price wise, Mermaid healer is 50 times more than Angelic mandarin. Angelic mandarin is rare (115 bcx required to max out) and Mermaid healer is epic (46 bcx to max out). So mermaid healer should be roughly 115/46 = 2.5 times more valuable by nature. Even considering that 50/2.5 = 20 times price difference between those 2.
Mermaid healer is an amazing card. I use it often still but that is a huge price difference.
Closing thought
Angelic mandarin is a great chaos legion card. It's a card that I'm glad to have. It can heal backline monsters and reduce magic damage while doing 2 damage. I believe it is competitive even compared to a similar older card that is 50 times more expensive.
