For quite a while we have been comparing the SplinterRents service versus Splex.
More info on this can be found in this post and the comments for subsequent seasons.
After last season, we have adjusted the accounts so that there were extra cards (such as neutral common chaos legion cards).
In addition to that, we created a third account named gravyjuice.
This account contains the exact same cards as both Squirtle33 and Minichaos, in order to compare rental services.
Due to the changes, this season isn't a perfect comparison for the following reasons:
- We started comparing a couple of days in after the season started (below data is from 11 days)
- Splex wasn't managing the cards below 20 CP for the first +- 16 hours
(this was my bad, which negatively impacted splex results with 70 DEC as a guesstimate) - Dragontools service was not working for the first +- 17 hours
(not just for gravyjuice but for all users). - Little late with emptying the accounts after end of season
Luckily everything is settled now, the accounts are empty and next season should show more consistent data.
However, regardless off above minor inconsistencies, the results are significant!
So without further ado:
Squirtle33 (managed by SplinterRents) earned 10556 DEC, which is 10028 after paying fees
Minichaos (managed by Splex) earned 9511 DEC, which is 8560 after paying fees
Gravyjuice (managed by Dragontools) earned 7486 DEC, which is 7306 after paying fees.
The fees for gravyjuice are relatively low for now, as the first 7 days were free.
This inconsistency is also not impacting the data anymore for upcoming season.
In other words:
squirtle33 (SplinterRents) had a 10.9% better performance compared to splex.
Taking fees into account, squirtle33 (SplinterRents) had a 17.1% better performance compared to Splex!
squirtle33 (SplinterRents) had a 41% better performance compared to Dragontools.
Taking fees into account, squirtle33 (SplinterRents) had a 37.2% better performance compared to Dragontools!
The accounts will be emptied again at the end of this season, and you will be updated on the results.
