Given the amount of energy I am getting from chests.
I know it is counter-intuitive to play with the most leveled-up reward cards as soon as possible, but I know quite a few people who don't open their major or ultimate loot chests until midway through the season when they are better positioned to take advantage of all that extra energy.
Even more impressive is that you managed to play all your battles in Modern this season. I wish I had that amount of time at my disposal to play more Modern. I play about 30-50 Modern battles each season to make sure that I play up from Diamond to Champ. Besides that, most of my time is spent on tournaments and brawls. And even then, I'm still only managing to play about 50% of my tournament battles. I really need to get more disciplined with my Splinterlands time.

This is always an issue with inflationary currencies during their print run. As more supply is added, the price drops. What I think will be very interesting is the next 12-18 months as the @spsdao works to decide how to allocate SPS rewards for battles and validators once the SPS print run ends. Then we get the real fireworks, as long as there are still enough people around playing the game. I'm confident and big bullish on $SPS over the medium term (5 years).

Tournaments almost double the amount SPS I earn each season. I made about 10K SPS from ranked, staking, brawls, licenses, and land... and if I remember to play all the silver league and up events at RF and GF, I can easily earn upwards of 12K SPS just from the 2 weeks worth of events. Huge amount of SPS to be earned from tournaments, if I could just remember to play them all!
