Once again, I'm cutting it close to the deadline, posting the S143 report card only minutes before the next season ends. For the record, S143 ran from September 15 through September 30 and I was still extremely busy teaching in the new school year, so I still couldn't play much Modern ranked play or even consistently compete in tournaments. Nevertheless, I brought home a decent SPS haul for the season. Let's take a look inside the numbers.

Well look at that stellar Modern ranked play win percentage. I won 20 of 25 modern battles for a stellar 80% win rate. Of course, the real challenge is keeping up that same win rate for 200 battles instead of just 25. Stringing together a nice winning streak is a great way to move from Diamond 2 to Champion 3 without wasting much time.
In Wild ranked play, the Xbot managed a 53.75% win rate over 614 battles. I only bought energy with Glint a few times during the 2-week season. I know I didn't recoup the Glint I spent just from winning battles, but it did allow me to convert some of the spent Glint into reward SPS and play into a leaderboard position for 20000 DEC at the end of the season. I think I will continue to buy some extra energy with Glint during the season, but it won't be every day that I buy an extra 25 energy.

Well I know I definitely played more than just these three private guild tournaments hosted by brybro. For the record, my guildmate and I played well enough to qualify for the tournament finals in this modern max ghost card event. But in the finals, I got whooped and finished in dead last place of the 10 players who made the finals. Brutal wake-up call for me to step up my game with better modern max battle strategies.
As for the SPS DAO tournaments, I earned SPS prizes in 14 of the events I entered during S143 for a total of 8202.565 SPS. The sum works out to an average of about 586 SPS earned in each of the tournaments where I won something. Unfortunately, since I signed up for all of the tournaments at once, it is more difficult for me to track how many total tournaments I registered for during S143.

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
I won 350 ranked battles in S143, with 330 in Wild and just 20 in Modern. After finishing with nearly 1.5M Glint in the past 3 seasons, I ended with quite a bit less this season, earning 1,147,089 Glint in S143. Most of the decrease is directly tied to buying less energy and playing fewer ranked battles during the season. Based on 639 battles and 350 wins, I earned 1795 Glint per battle and 3277 Glint per win.
SPS rewards came in strong at 5743.896 in earnings, with the majority of the wins coming in Wild. The numbers reveal earnings of nearly 9 SPS per battle and 16.4 SPS per win. If I can make more time to battle consistently in Modern next season, I should be able to increase my SPS earnings from ranked play.

Shame on me! I spent some time in Ohio for an EDM camping festival called Lost Lands during the season and I just could not find enough mobile signal to submit my brawl battles. I tried at a range of different times all throughout the 48-hour window, but it was no use. I got to the battle screen a few times, but the connection speeds were so slow that I timed out in both attempts and then fled from the other battles in my fray. I was very sad to let my guild down with an 0-X record from the brawl, costing us our chance at winning first place. That explains why my brawl rewards are sitting around 700 SPS instead of 1K, since I never got any SPS earnings from the brawl I fled from.
Now that I freed up a few titles from the alt accounts that are no longer working their land plots, I'm hoping I will be able to increase some of the SPS mining going on with my main account. All the other stats appear to be on track with last season, although they should be tracking slightly lower as more SPS gets locked up in staking and more land comes online mining SPS.
All in all, it was a successful S143 for DuceCrypto. I earned a total of 16270 SPS combined from my 8188 SPS rewards and 8082 SPS tournament winnings. Using today's spot SPS price of 0.008 USD, I made over $130 of value from SPS in Splinterlands Season 143. That's in addition to over 1M Glint I can spend on more of the new Rebellion reward cards in the Glint shop. Huge win as I continue to grow my Splintellands collection. Until next time...
