This was a disappointing season for me. I got involved in the Gala Games Town Star tournament and spent all my time playing there instead of on Splinterlands. I was hoping to win some Gala tokens, but then I found out that if your not one of the top finishers it costs about 5 times as much Ether to claim your winning as the winnings are worth. I can't wait for Eth2.0 to get released so these crazy expensive gas fees go away.

This is the most disappointing part of this seasons report! My rewards for the season consisted of only two common cards and 103 DEC.
The Gala tournament is over now so I won't be wasting my time playing games that pay no rewards any longer. From now on I'll be completing my Daily Quests and moving up to Silver league and better rewards by seasons end. I expect to more than double my rewards this season. I've already completed two daily quests this morning, so I'm off to a good start.

I haven't really looked into Gala games at all. I'm surprised games are still running on Ethereum. I understand theirs more development costs changing to another blockchain, but most people don't like those fees.. Good luck with the current season 👌
The gas fees have come down about 50% in the last few days, but it still costs more to claim the rewards than they are worth. I'm sticking with @splinterlands!
