With the release of the new Reward system, I no longer expected to open any Gladius cases, as I prioritized the usage of Glint for completing my set of Rewards cards.
But now we have the Loot Chests available in the reward shop, and therefore Merits are again distributed. This season I bought all the chests from batch 1 (I still need a lot of lower-quality Reward cards, and these chests are a good way to get them in volume). And with this, enough Merits to buy and open eight Gladius cases.
Before the updates, I burned all my Gladiators for DEC, and now I'm starting from scratch, and I'm happy with the current rewards, especially with the three epic cards and gold foil:

STOPI tend to rely on Brawls to get merits rather than the glint reward shop. It does work out if you submit your matches. Good luck building back your gladiators. I think they can be quite useful.
