Hello Splinterfam!
Just a quick story of why I wanted to write about this...
I have been playing Splinterlands since August of 2021.
I have seen a lot of changes happening before my eyes. From the different card editions, to the changes in reward cards, even the EOS power collection requirements and the changes in the dailies.
I have also opened a lot (at least for me) of packs already in hopes of pulling just a single gold foil legendary card. Nada. I have seen so much on Splinterlands but the one thing I've been wanting to see is me pulling a legendary card that changes its color to gold.
It's been almost 2 years since the first time I logged into Splinterlands, (without any clue how it would impact my life and that I would still be playing it in 2023 lol) and yet, it is only at the end of this season that I was able to see what I've always wanted. Just when I had just a few chests to open and wasn't expecting anything. I have opened more chests for EOS in the past.
A lot going on at the moment so I did not have much time to play.
27 Diamond Chests
Lucky lender! 3 Chaos Legion Packs for them while I got 2 legendary cards and others too. Plus the SPS is not bad!
11 Gold Chests
I wasn't expecting to get anything from this but I'm happy that the lender gets a pack. Hope it makes up for the times I wasn't able to play.
16 Diamond Chests
I was stoked because the first chest I opened had the GF Legendary! Not just one but two! I didn't really care much about the others but quite satisfied with the SPS. As for the lender, they got a decent amount of CLPs from my dailies and I think it's fine that the EOS chests didn't have one.
