Hello Splinterfam!
For this week's share your battle challenge, we are featuring an awesome legendary support monster, the Spirit Hoarder. This is one card a player must have, especially in the lower leagues.
Stats
I personally think this card is very useful especially in the bronze league as it is the only monster with the triage ability in the said league (that's if I'm not mistaken). Its ability to heal the backline is very useful in a lot of situations. In higher levels, it does have the dispel and blind abilities. At 3 mana, you can easily squeeze Spirit Hoarder in your team.
It's not speedy though, so make sure you place it safely to avoid it from dying before it heals your damaged monster and attacks.
The Battlefield

The reason I picked Thaddius Brood is because of the -1 HP since everybody starts with the same health.
The Strategy
The strategy here is pretty simple, since this is a Super Sneak battle, I though having a backline healer would be great. However, due to all monsters having the cripple ability, I knew that at some point, it will stop healing. Well at least, it did sustain a little bit to keep the attacks away from the damage dealers for a while, right? That's also the reason I placed Chaos Agent at the back as it also has a high chance of dodging the attacks. Our Magi Necrossi is safe next to it anyway with the camouflage ability (unless we encounter Scattershot and Blast monsters).
The Battle
At the end of the first round, all monsters are still alive. Damage from both teams are scattered as we see sneak and snipe monsters. Starting at 10 HP, this might take a while. At this point, it's not yet clear whose side has the upper hand.
During this round, the Venari Marksrat has already died and got resurrected. Hence, the +1 Magic Damage from the martyr ability for the Ancient Lich.
Uraeus managed to inflict poison into the Corpse Fiend at the far back side but Cursed Windeku is struggling to keep it up even with its tank heal ability in front.
All monsters are still alive.
It's important for me to highlight this screenshot as this is where the Spirit Hoarder played a significant role. The Venari Marksrat died once again and with the martyr ability, it gave +1 magic damage again to Ancient Lich. 4 magic damage would have easily brought my team down and sucked more life out of them but it's a good thing we got our featured monster in the battle.
When Spirit Hoarder's attack landed, Ancient Lich went from Hero to Zero. Back to 2 magic damage that would not hurt my team so much. Spirit Hoarder stopped healing Chaos Agent at the back but it did something incredible in front. That meant so much now that Cursed Windeku is already gone.
By the end of the fourth round, a poisoned Life Sapper is tanking for my team while Uraeus and Magi Necrossi are dealing with the backline.
Life Sapper is clearly struggling since the Ancient Lich has the void ability. Hadn't it been dispelled, it would have already been chewing on Uraeus at this point. And for that, thanks to Spirit Hoarder.
This took time to finish, poison from Uraeus got Ancient Lich and the last monster standing on my opponent's side was the Venari Bonesmith, who then got slaughtered by Magi Necrossi.
