Todays Update - Day 4

I got to enjoy a nice water challenge today. I did do quite as well as I hoped I would, only winning 50% of my matches during the challenge. I got nine credits as my daily reward, which brings me to a total of twelve. Not enough to buy anything, but it is still more than what I had before.

Following the completion of my daily challenge. I decided it would be a good idea to work on the weekly battle challenge so I could make a post on it. This week the theme for the challenge was the Lava Spider, and it was a pain. I found I was winning half of my matches with it; however, the spider either did not have a target to snipe, or it died before actually being able to do something. I found myself realizing that there were a few cards that would be considerably more useful which I could have been using instead. In the end, instead of using a fire splinter, I switched to a dragon splinter for the shield gain to keep the Spider alive. As it turned out, that decision was a smart one, and in combination with a lucky matchup, the Spider pulled its weight. I plan on making my first of two weekly posts tomorrow; however, that will be RC-dependent.

I had mentioned yesterday that I had entered a few giveaways. Sadly, I've not won anything as of yet, but who knows what the future will bring.

I transferred the SPS I had earned from the faucet to Splinterlands. I now have a total of 0.253 SPS. I've yet to decide if I will just hold onto it, stake it or sell it for DEC. Likely I will choose one of the latter two options as that way I can get some use out of it, although regardless of what I choose, it is a small enough amount that it won't have too much of an effect. I am leaning towards staking it as this account is a long-term project.

I have decided to add another table down below for SPS. This table will include SPS gained from the Splinter Labs Faucet, the airdrop, and from staking. I will try to claim any gains from staking at a consistent time, but I make no promises. The table will also include the total amount of SPS and the $ value I have. I had planned on including the total number of my airdrop points in the table, but when I did, the table become too crowded for my liking. Instead, I will indicate the total number just above the table. Moving forwards I am planning on tracking the past seven-day period in this table. Once seven days have been reached, I am going to add one more row to the bottom that indicates how much each category has generated over time. I will still be keeping the total SPS amount in the total assets table as well. Adding in this separate table allowed me to track some interesting data, without cluttering up the total assets table.

As a final update, I am planning on transferring my DEC from the faucet to Splinterlands tomorrow and then purchasing cards with it. Once again, if you have any suggestions feel free to let me know your thoughts on which cards to purchase and why.

I'll admit this was another long post today, but what can I say. I like to write. Until tomorrow all.
