Splinterlands SHARE YOUR BATTLE: DRAGON

in #splintertalk2 years ago

Dragon summoner is one of my favorite splinters not only because of the decent dragon monsters, but also because of the immense synergies it brings with other splinters.

Out of all summoners, considering budget and all, Kretch is my current favorite. He's super undervalued right now considering he's a epic summoner that requires less BCX to level up. He's helped me tremendouly in reaching gold league, and above later. I've maxed him out.

If you haven't already, go check him out! The price right now is $3.862 per bcx and I am sure it won't stay there for long.

Anyway! Here is the battle link for my battle using the Dragon team:

Let me share my reason for the team now.

The game has the following rulesets:

Silenced summoners
Poison
Fire, Water, Light, Death, and Dragon splinters can be chosen.
Mana limit: 36
Silenced summoners ruleset is the perfect scenario to use Kretch and he doesn't offer extra ability, and he only costs 3 mana, which means better flexibility when creating our team. Usually when there is a earthquake/poison ruleset, I immediately think of death splinter because of the immunity from Harklaw and the scavenge ability from Riftwing. I also need to have a full team of six monsters so that my Riftwing will be able to gain extra health when the other monsters die off.

I decided to go with the following team -

Summoner: Kretch

Djinn Chwala: Great tank with decent damage output, especially when enraged, which is perfect as poison immediately triggers enrage and amplify his damage and speed after the first round. He's almost my 100% go-to when I pick Dragon splinter.

Twilight Basilisk: Awesome utility for just 4 mana. Once it's got the stun ability, it creates so much more possibility in your team including utilizing the knockout ability, even without the knockout ability, the stun itself is just awesome.

Riftwing: My go-to when the ruleset is earthquake/poison. Because other monsters die off quickly and it can usually sustain for a few rounds from their deaths. Not to mention in gold league it has headwinds! Also love the backfire as it dodges often with flying and its high speed.

Venari Bonesmith: 4 mana and 2 magic attack! Love life sapping to sustain for longer in a poison ruleset.

Sha-vi: Want to sneak up on the opponent with 3 attack, to aim for potentially self-healing monster at the backline.

Harklaw: Awesome legendary with great value! I always love to use him in the backline because monsters with sneak ability is usually with a lower damage (except sandworm), combined with demoralize, Harklaw is very difficult to get through. Not to mention it has immunity which is perfect for this poison ruleset.

My team combination worked well I'd say! What do you think?

Hope you liked the battle. Let me know your thoughts on my team selection in the comments below.
