Intro: I have been a member of the splinterlands community since October 2018 and have always considered to create some content, sharing some of my knowledge/opinion about the game and after a long time of procrastination, I finally decide to start and see where this goes :)

I will share my thoughts opinion on some of the cards I currently use a lot and see them as game changers in many situations. My opinion probably will be biased based on my experience with those cards and if you tend to disagree on something, feel free to share your opinion in the comments below.

I chose to start with my favorite WATER deck, so without further ado, I present to you ,,,

The Albatross

While this 1 mana cost card is included in the current starter deck of ghost cards, lvl.6 is where it actually turns into a game changer in my opinion. Being an untamed card, it's more on the expensive side of things to get it to level 6 with current prices around 60$, but you can easily rent a lvl.6 Albatross for around 10-15 dec which is, I believe, something very affordable. It's worth noting that you only get the heal in golden league on higher but I still believe this card is a nice and crucial addition to the water squad, regardlee of which summoner you go to, as it provides a cheap heal for low mana battles.

While it's 2 health makes it an easy target for opportunity attacks, the flying gives the card a chance of evading even at base 2 speed, but it's never a bad idea to protect the albatross with some shielding which in water splinter is something relatively easy achievable.

The albatross is a really effective healer in Earthquake rulesets as it can help keep alive a tank with mitigation abilities while the enemy teams attack power slowly fades due to the casualties from the non-flying victims.

All in all for a 1 mana cost this card provides a lot of utility even as a "meat shield" for your damaging units and a heal for 2 mana less than both of the other water healers.

Outro: I hope you found something informative or useful in this article and I appreciate any effort in my future endeavors, so an upvote or comment/opinion are appreciated as I will be trying to get a feel what the community finds useful and what not so much. Thank you for your time reading and I hope the splinterlands Gods bless you with plenty of dec, sps and golf-foil legendaries!
