Football World cup 2018

Hi everybody,

Hope you are having a fine day. :D

I want to write about another one of my passions today! That is football (soccer) and the incoming world cup that is only 72 days away till its kick off.

The stage is set in beautiful Russia, the groups are ready and are as follows:

Group A: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay

Group B: Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran

Group C: France, Australia, Peru, Denmark

Group D: Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria

Group E: Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Serbia

Group F: Germany, Mexico, Sweden, South Korea

Group G: Belgium, Panama, Tunisia, England

Group H: Poland, Senegal, Colombia, Japan

32 teams battling it out for the world cup and the honour to be world champions for the next for years until the 2022 world cup. But do we remember who the last champion was? Germany with their narrow win over Argentina.

The same Argentina that is struggling right now after the last friendly game where they lost 6-1 to Spain.
Here a review of the last friendly games before the world cup:

Mexico vs. Croatia 0 : 1
Peru vs. Iceland 3 : 1
USA vs. Paraguay 1 : 0
Spain vs. Argentina 6 : 1
Australia vs. Colombia 0 : 0
England vs. Italy 1 : 1
Nigeria vs. Serbia 0 : 2
Belgium vs. Saudi Arabia 4 : 0
Germany vs. Brazil 0 : 1
Poland vs. South Korea 3 : 2
Romania vs. Sweden 1 : 0
Greece vs. Egypt 1 : 0
Hungary vs. Scotland 0 : 1
Tunisia vs. Costa Rica 1 : 0
Switzerland vs. Panama 6 : 0
Russia vs. France 1 : 3
Japan vs. Ukraine 1 : 2

There are some interesting results and I think one that could very well be the final for 2018 (Germany vs Brazil).
But a world cup is a world cup and until it starts and we start its really hard to predict! There are always the surprises, the obvious results and the fun of seeing what happens!

But if you want to predict it and have some fun, here is a predictor that might help you:

Im looking forward to this always fun event!! Let the games begin.
