MADRID (Reuters) - Spanish club Barcelona have expressed their intention to involve veteran midfielder Andres Iniesta in a deal with Argentine striker Paolo Debala of Juventus during the summer transfer period.
According to the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Barcelona wants to include Iniesta in the Debala deal in order to persuade Juventus to give up the services of his Argentine striker.
Barca offer 90 million euros for Juventus to join Debala, as well as the dismissal of Andres Iniesta.
Debala is one of the options offered by the Barcelona administration to hire one of them to succeed Brazilian striker Neymar, who left Barca this summer to Paris St Germain in a historic deal worth 222 million euros.
It is worth mentioning that Barcelona has not decided to renew the contract in Iniesta so far, although the contract of the Spanish midfielder ends next summer.
