Azerbaijan Grand Prix+ CONTEST!
Hello my dear Steemians! Today I prepared an article about upcoming F1 race in the streets of Baku.
The youngest race in the calendar
The first and only race in Azerbaijan was hold in 2016. Named as European Grand Prix joined the calendar on 17-19 June. This anti-clockwise track was projected by Hermann Tilke to be the fastest street circuit in the world, with a top speed almost hitting a 360kmh (223 mph) mark, and it also became the second longest circuit, slightly more than a kilometer shorter than Belgian Spa-Francorchamps.
Track of different extremes
Tilke managed to make a track with everything: 90 degree corners in the Sector 1, very tight section in Sector 2 and a very long full throttle section in Sector 3. The most interesting part has to be section 8-9-10, where the track has a narrow 7,6 m (25 ft) in turn 8, what is a place where the cars are entering the section of the Old City with a beautiful medieval Sabayil Castle on the left side of this section.
Bonus: We are going to see a new winner!
With only one winner of this race, Nico Rosberg, who retired before this season, we are guaranteed to see a new king of Grand Prix in The Land of Fire! Who is it going to be? One of the Ferrari drivers, or Mercedes drivers? Or do you think that there is another team to battle for the win in Azerbaijan? Join the discussion in the Comments section!

Hello @davrath, I owe you money. I guess you remember :)
Hello @steemfluencer, yes, I do, but as I remember you've written that it will be done in few weeks, so I'm cool :-)
I was excited when I saw you're into F1, I think that not a lot of Steemians are into motorsport. We need to bring them some great articles, so keep it up!
Hello there, don't wanna bother you, but I'd like to see my prize as I'd like to jump to an exchange and come back with more Steem. Hope it's not a big problem, thanks for answer. :-)
Thank you for getting back to me. I just made the transfer. Apologies for the huge delay!
