Fantasy Premier League 2016/2017 summary.

in #sport8 years ago

So, we all know that Chelsea has won the Premier League this season, superbly conducted by Antonio Conte, who beat all expectations in one of the most difficult league in the world.

But more importantly, what about my season in Fantasy Premier League?

Well, the second part of the season has been, all in all, much better than the first part, especially from GW30 to GW35:

I previously relied a bit too much on Zlatan Ibrahimovic. But since this one was injured, I had to move fast to find replacements and devise a new team around a core of players from the two best teams: Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs.

Here is the last team for the final fixture:

But here is the highest score fixture from the match day 37: 85 points! However, as high as it looks like, you will notice that I lost 19 points (!) on the bench because I left out Coutinho from the active team (and I could have earned 10 extra points by making Son captain!):

So, in the end, my total points are 1981!

I didn't break the 2000 points bar like last year but it stands as the third highest result since I started playing Fantasy premier league. I can draw strength and hope from that!

I can't wait to be in August and for the whole circus to start again and to build my new team :) Hope I'll find some enthusiasts here as well, to start a trend!

I am 100% up for a fantasy team thread with you mate.

I took a season off this year due to new born baby commitments and being a fantasy football manager, is a hard long graft during a season.

Roll on august!! Followed

Nice going man, I also play fantasy premier league, scored 2,142 points this year. Nice to hear from another enthusiast here! Maybe for next year we can discuss it more here!

2142! Damn! You are in a league of your own! Yes, let's organize for next season :) Followed!
