Over the years, football players have been transferred from one club to another and to another and so on, meeting new teammates, be manager, new coaches and new challenges. Football clubs usually agree to sell their players or buy players while players involved also do agree personal terms before leaving a club for another
Football governing body known a FIFA, step up a financial fair play body/unit so as to control the way football clubs spend their money on players during transfer window. Therefore, over the years we have seen football clubs buying and selling players at a price that's affordable for both big and small clubs and other small developing clubs
A decade ago, transfer fee began to change as football super stars are being sold at higher price to another club. Example of such is the transfer of Fernando Torres from Liverpool FC to Chelsea FC at €50 million and the transfer HD Christiano Ronaldo from Manchester United FC to Real Madrid FC in a fee at about €80 million. Among others superstars
However, this present era transfer fees had moved from bad to worst such that players release clause has become high that other clubs will have to pay heavily before they can sign a player from other clubs. This modern era has seen the likes of Paris Saint German FC club signing Neymar from Barcelona FC at a fee of €200 million which has turned transfer system upside down
The immediate problem of this event is that players who are not superstars now cost 3 times their actual value and some other players costing almost 60times their market value example of such is Barcelona signing Dembele from Borrucia Dortmund at about €180 million, a player they bought for about€18 million and the €50 million asking price of inter Milan FC Ivan Periodic from Manchester United, a player they got from Dortmund for about €18 million two years ago
The more concerning problem is what today's transfer issue will cause in the coming years for small clubs who can't afford to pay huge fees.
I love Football too, great post! We have our own team here in our village in Gambia and we are really good. :)
