On 22 June 2017 Salah signed for Liverpool for an initial €42m that could rise to €50m. Little did they know he would become a revolution. Since then he has hit unimaginable heights scoring 28 league goals including 4 goals in his last game against Watford taking him 3 goals ahead of Lionel messi in the race of the golden shoe. He also helped his country to their first world cup appearance since 1990. Winning both the BBC African best footballer and d CAF best footballer. He has broken several records already scoring the highest number of goals in his debut season for Liverpool, highest left footed strikes among others. His 28 league goals is just 3 goals short of the record held by Alan Shearer(1995/96) Christiano Ronaldo ( 2007/08) and Luis Suarez ( 2013/14) with 7 games still to play he is on course to break that record. He has also helped Liverpool to the quarter final of the UCL. Now he is compared to a great like Messi because of their similar style of play and his imperious form in front of goal. But if he is to become a great he has to maintain consistency like Messi and Ronaldo over the years. Well fellow steamians do you think Salah can maintain this form in future seasons and cement his status as an all time great??
