When I was a strapping young lad all I wanted to be was a professional Baseballer. I gave that dream up because I wanted to play ball with my friends. Worst decision of my life. I have such a high baseball IQ it's unbelievable. I should have played for the pony league we have here in town. I should have played shortstop instead of catcher. But catching was really fucking awesome, best position I've ever played in any sport. It ruined my knees, but it was worth it at the time. This year I took a shot and came back to play for a local ameture team and had 3 at bats before tearing my rotator cuff. My first AB was a 4 pitch strikeout (this guy threw in AA) I took him to 6 the next AB and had a foul tip that got stuck in the fence. A week later I swung for the fences and my shoulder hasn't stopped hurting all summer. But damn I miss the game.
