Visiting a darts tournament is defintely one thing you need to do.
Already when entering the hall you get goose bumps. It is the whole event which is so unique and special. All the fans are with the craziest disguises on the spot, for example as a beer barrel, Powerrangers or Super Mario. This contributes to the good mood, just like the beer. Then it starts and the dart players come on stage. Especially the proximity of the players to the fans. Thus, a clapping with the trailers is an honor before every game. In turn, there is strong support for the players. The best feeling for spectators and players: the achievement of a 180th Then turn first once all through.
Since I discovered the darts sport for me in 2014, I visit a tournament every year. And the good news for all interested: for the regional tournaments where even stars like van Gerwen play with, you get tickets for under 50 euros.
