Hello after a short break my dear Steemit friends. 🎿
I greet you from the snow fields in Engelberg, in Switzerland. 🇨🇭 Skiing has been one of my favourite hobbies since childhood. This time I am trying my best on the Off-piste skiing and so far I can say it is not so hard as I thought it would be. But first I wanted to prepare for it. So I chose a special, slightly wider skier model that is especially suitable for off-road skiing in deep snow. The biggest challenge during Off-piste skiing is to not fall into the deep snow. Wider skis are therefore very helpful. If you lose your balance in a deep powder snow, it takes a while to get out of the snow again. What I can confirm by my own example. ⛷

Ich begrüße euch von den Schneepisten in Engelberg, in der Schweiz. 🇨🇭 Das Skifahren gehört zu meinen Lieblingshobbys schon seit meiner Kindheit. Diesesmal versuche ich meine Stärken im Skifahren auf der Off-Piste und es war nicht so krass wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Zuerst will ich mich aber darauf vorbereiten. Also habe ich dafür ein spezielles, etwas breiteres Skier-Modell gewählt, das besonders gut für Offroad-Skifahren im Tiefschnee geeignet ist. Eine große Herausforderung beim Off-Track-Fahren ist es, niemals in den Tiefschnee zu fallen. Breitere Skier sind deswegen sehr hilfreich. Wenn man in einem tiefen Pulverschnee seine Balance verliert, dauert es dann doch eine Weile, aus dieser Schneepracht wieder herauszukommen. Was ich selber an meinem eigenen Beispiel bestätigen kann. ⛷

Herrliche Bilder hast du da aufgenommen, Ich bin noch nie ski gefahren, das steht noch auf meine Abarbeitungsliste also mal Skiunterricht zu nehmen, da wird aber dann ein Vollkörperschutz benötigt und nicht nur ein Helm:). Vielen Dank dir . lg

Cool Engelberg war ich auch schon zweimal Snowboard fahren. Wie erreicht man am besten die Off Piste? Hab hier die Map mal eingefügt wäre cool von dir wenn du es mir kurz erklären könntest :)
Der ganze Neuschnee dort sieht echt verlocken aus möchte am liebsten gleich mit meinem Board dort runter brettern. :D

It looks stunning! I've always wanted to go off-piste skiing, but I never got the chance to do it due to bad weather! I bet it's pretty exhausting, but I'm sure the amazing view and all the fun will take that away! reading your post reminds me of the time when i went skiing with my father. As i growed up we stopped the tradition cause you know work, living in different cities..
