Rotterdam Sparta made it "a share or nothing" entertaining game when they hosted PSV at the Sparta-Stadion "Het Kasteel". Both teams battled hard on the pitch and pushed for glory but a draw was what they could and a point each.
AZ Alkmaar at the Cars Jeans Stadion should be classified as a threat to anyone in the Dutch League considering their impressive home performance so far this season. Hosting and beating Twente shows how competitive AZ Alkmaar are.
At the Oude Meerdijk, FC Emmen edged passed Vitesse which turned out to be an entertaining matchup after a slow and rough start, Groningen comfortably beat Willem ii at the Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion and VVV-Venlo were dispersed at home by Feyenoord.
A big win for Utrecht at the Stadion Galgenwaard, hosting and beating Fortuna Sittard not just by 1 goal but 6 goals to nothing was a statement well made.
Meanwhile, ADO Den Haag against Heerenveen ended in a one-all draw and that matchup was the last game of week 12 of the Dutch League.
