Hey!
Since the last post I have traveled over 400km and currently I am staying at the National Team's group in the Olympic preparation center in Wroclaw. It is a short, 6-day camp before departure for the Academic World Championships to Malaysia 🇲🇾. This is not a good time for hard training, but for the last touches to get the form to the highest level. With each post I will provide you with some shooting theory so that you can better understand this rather complex discipline. I shoot a air rifle at 10m and a sports rifle at 50m. In the photo above you can see a 50-meter shooting range. Shooting from 50m takes place in a lying, kneeling or standing position. On the right there is a monitor and a shield called SIUS shooters. Thanks to this electronic shield, we do not have to check after each shot what we scored by scrolling the dial, but the result is immediately displayed on the monitor. This is not a technology that can be found anywhere. Many shooting ranges still use traditional (paper) discs, because this equipment is not the cheapest. In the photo, the only shooting range in Poland, where you can shoot at 50m in the hall. All others require shooting through the window outside, which practically prevents training in the winter, but we cope somehow :) Apart from us, the National Team of the Czech Republic is also present here. Comment, ask, I will gladly answer all your questions.
Soon another dose of interesting, not everyday information. It's been week for the Championships in Malaysia! Stay in touch!
