I agree that this fight went on to long. The referee could have stopped it when the opposing fighter was reluctant to issue more damage. It is clear that he sensed the man couldn't defend himself and expected the referee to agree. But when the referee didn't step up, the fighter returned to the hunt and any of those blows could be the one that damaged the brain of the downed fighter or when he develops parkinsons or dementia his family may look back at this one as a possible cause. We as fans need to hunger for competition, not blood. A fighter deserves to go home walking on his own two feet.
