Hi, Steemers!
Volkswagen announced yesterday that they will have their new Polo R5 car in the second half of the 2018 season available to private drivers. There's no real picture of the car on their web pages, just prototype photo.
It also says that it will have 270bhp. I would say it's no possible because all the other R5 cars have around 300bhp, some even more. So the power should be the same as other R5 cars, maybe even higher because they VW wants to have a winner, just like last 4 seasons when they ruled in the World Rally Championship with their leading driver Ogier.
Photo of prototype is here and the real photos should be alive soon when they start to test publicly.
older brother Polo WRC 2016 with Ogier
It's crazy how much performance you can buy these days for just $20-30k. The new Civic Type R is like 300+hp and goes to 170mph, LOL. This was super car performance just a decade ago.
true. but this car will cost around 300k€ ;)
