Hi, Steemers!
I already wrote a few times about French driver Sebastien Dommerdich and his marvelous skills behind a wheel of an old Peugeot 205 Maxi which he drives for years. He occasionally changes a chassis and put the new parts on it but basically it's the same car for years.
He tried something better - he drove Fiat Grande Punto S2000 in 2010 when the S2000 cars were still highly popular and quick. He didn't have luck or he just wasn't quick enough in that car. That is just the destiny of some drivers - to stay in the national championships with some slower cars.
After Fiat he returned to his old love - old Peugeot 205 Maxi which is the chassis of an old 205 GTI but with the engine end sequential gearbox of 306 Maxi with little bit detuned engine to 250bhp. Normal 306 Maxi engine had around 280-290bhp.
This season he started to use sequential gearbox after big sponsor Yacco took him under their colors. He also became a part of FFSA squad, which is French Motorsport federation team. That's how good he is.
I found this onboard which is real pleasure to watch and you can learn a lot from driving a front wheel drive car.
Please enjoy...
