Manufacturers who have a long history in the MotoGP racing event will re-participate in the World Grand Prix Championships in the Moto2 category.
MV Agusta began to compete in the Grand Prix motor racing event in 1948 and decided to stop in 1976.
Italian manufacturer will be dropped in the Moto2 class after working with one of the participants Moto2 team, Forward Racing team.
Between MV Agusta and the Forward Racing team have reached a long-term agreement, four years with a four-year extension option.
One reason MV Agusta is willing to compete in the Moto2 class is that they are familiar with the three-cylinder Triumph engine that replaces the Honda engine from next season.
Forward Racing team boss, Giovanni Cuzari, said that it has been preparing for several months.
"We've been working for a few months, if it's as fast as it's beautiful, then we'll win right away," Giovanni Cuzari was quoted as saying by GPOne.
MV Agusta will not work alone, because the Forward Racing team also collaborated with Suter to build swingarms.
