Belgium won dramatically over Japan in the last 16 of the 2018 World Cup. Behind 0-2, Belgium finally won 3-2 through a decisive goal in injury time.
Japan made a surprise when able to surpass Belgium 2-0 in a match that took place at Rostov Arena on Tuesday (3/7/2018) pm dawn. Team Samurai Blue breaks into the Red Devils goalkeeper through Genki Haraguchi in the 48th minute and Takashi Inui in the 52nd minute.
Belgian coach Roberto Martinez responded quickly to the goals by playing Marouane Fellaini and Nacer Chadli in the 65th minute.
Belgium was able to minimize lagging 1-2 through Jan Vertonghen scored in the 69th minute. Five minutes later Fellaini equalized the score to 2-2.
The game looks set to extend into extra time, but a Belgian counter-attack makes it unlikely. Nacer Chadli scored a goal in injury time thanks to assists Thomas Meunier.
Not long ago the referee blew the final whistle mark. Belgium also won with a score of 3-2 and challenge Brazil in the quarterfinals.
