Arsenal's academy director Liam Brady has revealed that current Premier League goal machine Harry Kane was released by Arsenal at the age of eight because he was a bit chubby and not very athletic.
After joining Tottenham Hotspurs, Kane was loaned out further to lower divisions. However the lanky Englishman had that intent to do well on the big stage and is being compared with the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo today. Moreover, he's only 24.
Kane admits that 'leaving Arsenal' was one of the best things that has happened to him and he cherishes the success he enjoys today. Kane scored the 101st Premier League goal against Arsenal, their North London rivals.
