Hello!
Everybody doing sports. Running, going to the gym, swimming, cycling, etc. we do sports. What do we do after that? After any physical effort we need recovery to get the most result of the stimulus produced. What this means?

Recovery is an important part of sports training because it is a stage in the process of adapting the body to effort.
Overcompensation principle by Selye:
- stimulus;
- fatigue;
- recovery (parameters return to the initial values of the stimulus application);
- adaptation (overcompensation) parameters have better values than the initial ones).
The role of recovery:
- It is essential in achieving sports performance.
The time spent on recovery is essential to overcompensation. - An important role in preventing trauma and over-training.
Fatigue caused by incomplete recovery is highly correlated with the risk of trauma and over-training.
What happens during the effort
- Musculoskeletal ligaments;
- Depletion of energy sources;
- Creation of metabolic products (lactic acid, free radicals etc);
- Liquid losses;
- Consumption of vitamins and minerals.
During the recovery, adaptation to stress stress is achieved:
- Recovering energy reserves consumed by effort and even overcompensation;
- Recovery of liquid losses;
- Repair of yeast lesions even overcompensation by the development of muscle fiber;
- Removing metabolism products.
Assisted recovery:
- improves and accelerates the natural recovery of the body;
- uses specific procedures in different fields (balneo-physio-therapeutic, dietetic, medicinal, etc.).
Recovery types:
- short-term recovery - immediate recovery after a training or competition;
- Long-term recovery - Restoring after a week or training.
Have a nice day :)
