In 1977 Red Rum made history by becoming the first horse to win The Grand National 3 times. It's an unbeleivable achievemnet, and still to this day, no horse has won it 3 times. It's arguably the toughest horse race in the world, and many horses have actually died trying to complete it. Not nice, I know, but this goes to highlight how incredible an achievment it is for Red Rum and its owners.
