Salah recorded a fantastic debut with Liverpool by scribbling a name on a history book after collecting 32 goals in a single English Premier League season, past 31 goals by Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez.
The attackers' shoes will be on display starting next week as part of the Champions League final clash between Liverpool and Real Madrid which will take place in Kiev.
The shoes will be on display alongside ancient sculptures and a number of other historic Egyptian artifacts.
"There's a wonderful addition! Looking at the Champions League final and to celebrate the success of Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah to be the Premier League top scorer this season, we will be putting up his shoes with ancient Egyptian objects."
The curator of the British Museum Neal Spencer added: "These shoes tell of modern Egyptian icons that appear in the UK with global impact and continue our project of getting objects that can tell the life of Egyptian days in the 20th and 21st centuries. In addition to the goalscoring record, Salah also grabbed the EPL Player of the Year title, the PFA Best Player and the FWA Player of the Year.
