Virtual reality came to sports and burns calories 🎮

Technology takes giant steps in our time and its application to sport could not fail.

But really... Can we benefit from virtual reality to train more and better?

Although it is a relatively young technology and, although no one doubts that it is promising and currently has many limitations, this virtual reality is making its small revolution in the field of sports.

The gamification of the elevated exercise to the next level

Virtual reality training can be a good starting point for physical exercise. Perhaps once we have created the habit of spending half an hour or an hour every day thanks to a video game, it will be easier to move on to another type of more intense training later.

Physical activity is important in our lives and for many reasons it is not always easy to start practicing a sport. Although it does not seem to be the best option for sports lovers, virtual reality could be more useful in this kind of situations.
The advantage here, simply, is that the user can go at their own pace.

One of the greatest benefits that can be exercised through virtual reality is the motivation to train a little more each day turning the training into a game.
One of the most difficult things, once we decide to exercise, is to maintain that motivation day after day: if we have never done sport, if we are sedentary people, it is very possible that we see the gym or the fact of doing physical activity as an obligation rather than as a way to improve our overall health.

Gamifying the exercise through applications or through the use of video consoles can give us that additional motivation that we need to start moving, it can also help us to relax from the concerns for a while and have fun or even as a reward.
And, what is more important, we can do it every day, keep it with time and thus, create the habit of moving.

It is clear that virtual reality does not replace reality, training with a professional has that human component that a machine can not offer us.however, it may be a good idea to combine both options.

Like everything, excessive use or misuse can lead to injury, but responsible use can be beneficial.
And also, it can bring us closer to experiences that are not within reach or we can not frequent and live in person and without a doubt, it can be fun.
