At 3athlon.be we were invited for the windtunnel test by Ruben Geys at Flanders Bike Valley. The Itzu triathlete by coach Luc Van Lierde performed a test for a Belgian development: aero-gel by Naqi. Apparently this actually made him faster, by how much... they wouldn't tell. Earlier this week Saleta Castro performed the same test.
Ruben Geys' first reaction: "it felt cold, so the cooling effect does work..." At this point the gel is a prototype, but the company ensures that promising results were obtained during the tests.
