It is sad that these types of stories continue to stain the NFL. These guys are put on a pedestal at a very young age and treated like kings. They are “kept” out of trouble and the system doesn’t always apply to them. They are thought that they are superstars and therefore people will pretty much do anything for them and they can get away with pretty much anything. There needs to be more emphasis placed on building character in these athletes before they get to the pros. I’m not saying that this is all players by any means but there are enough that it has created an unfortunate stereotype about the entire league.
