Every four years, we have the chance to watch one of the biggest and greatest sports event. The FIFA World Cup. In this year 2018, it`s time for Russia to host this amazing event that will be watched by millions worldwide.
Just 2 day to go. 2 days for the official kick-off. And in this oportunity i will like to review every single Team and Group searching for players that can make the difference in this World Cup. For what reason?, to let you know that the football stars or "cracks", go beyond Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, etc. Not underestimating those three on any level but with the purpose of rising the rest of the talent among all of the 32 teams participating on this event.
Let`s Start This Review :
Group A:
- Russia
- Saudi Arabia
- Egypt
- Uruguay
This group has the presence of one of the believed candidates for fighting the Ballon D´Orr with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. I´m talking about Mohamed Salah from Egypt, forward player on Liverpool FC. One of the top scorers of this season. His Speed and skills with a lot of talent, chemestry and power makes him one of the players to watch on this World Cup. Also we have Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez, 2 of the best players of Uruguay National Team, leaded by the team DT Oscar Washington Tabares who had created an incredible squad filled with power and loyalty, these two players are the scorers of their recpective clubs (Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona) and their national team. Without a doubt, these two players are worth to watch on the pitch.
Group B:
- Portugal
- Spain
- Morocco
- Iran
Group B promisses to be one of the most exciting of this World Cup. On one side we have one of the greatest players of all time, 5 Time Ballon D´Orr, 2 Time FIFA "The Best"and reciently UEFA Champions League winner: Cristiano Ronaldo, Leading Portugal National Team (who are also the UEFA European Championship winners) wishing to make their way through this event. On the other side, Spain National Team with many talented players like: Isco (Real Madrid), Lucas Vásquez (Real Madrid), Marco Asensio(Real Madrid), David Silva (Manchester City), Iago Aspas (Celta de Vigo), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Iniesta (Barcelona former), Koke (Atlético de Madrid), etc. Honestly Spain has a bunch of stars who can make the difference but i will go ahead and make my prediction: Isco will be the player to follow on this team.
Group C
- France
- Australia
- Perù
- Denmark
This one features a great example of new talent. We have all of the young stars of France National Team like Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain), Dembelé (Barcelona) and Fekir (Olympique de Lyon) who had and amazing season with their clubs (except Dembelè due to an injury), teaming up with the already football stars Paul Pogba (Manchester United), Antoine Griezmann (Atlético de Madrid) and Kanté (Chelsea). France, without a doubt is one of the teams that presents a lot of rising football stars that deserves to be spotted on. Also we face the great performance of Perú with the great news of the comeback of their Captain: Paolo Guerrero, one of the teams best player. Australia however on this ocasion doesn´t present a mayor rising football star to have on the look but Denmark gives us 2 more players to add to our "To Watch" list: Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur) who was one of the spotlights of his club this season and also getting the interest of Barcelona for his service; and Casper Dolberg (Ajax F.C) that is one of the world´s rising stars to be.
Group D
- Argentina
- Iceland
- Croatia
- Nigeria
Group D gives us another one of the greatest players in the world, Lionel Messi (Barcelona). Also 5 time Ballon D´Orr winner and 2nd place on the past FIFA World Cup on Brazil, Messi is one of the current football stars that features style, speed, great performance, dribling, and many more that makes him a great weapon to have for this World Cup. With him on Argentina´s National Team, are Angel Di Maria (Paris Saint-Germain), Paulo Dybala (Juventus), Enzo Perez (River Plate) and Otamendi (Manchester City), all players to have on the look for their amazing skills and great performances. In Front of them we have Croatia´s stars featuring Luka Modric (Real Madrid), Mateo Kovacic (Real Madrid) and Ivan Rakitic (Barcelona) who had dominated the midfield on their respective clubs with absolutely amazing appearances. But the team to have "On the look" on this group is Iceland. With a great cohesitive group, they´ve managed to enter this World Cup and presented a great face on the past UEFA European Championship. This team performance has been flawless without a doubt.
Group E
- Brazil
- Switzerland
- Costa Rica
- Serbia
Ladies and Gentleman, the "Jogo Bonito" is back!!. The group E features an incredible talented and well managed Brazil National Team. With the presence of Neymar Jr (Paris Saint-Germain) on great form, one of the current football stars worldwide, and many more "cracks" like Firmino(Liverpool) who had an amazing season in his club, teaming up wit M. Salah and Mané on the front of the squad, Pillippe Coutinho, recently signed by Barcelona with great club appearances filled with talent, speed and great style on the pitch, and Brazil´s latest football promise: Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City), a young man who is looking for his spotlight on this World Cup. Not counting Marcelo (Real Madrid) who had an incredible season, one of the best LB of the world (if not the best) and other stars like Paulinho, Casemiro, etc. Definetly Brazil´s National Team is one of my personal favorites for this World Cup. This group also features Two players to have on the look: Xherdan Shaquiri (Stoke City) and Xhaka (Arsenal FC) based on the talent and skills that the both have and will present to the world on this event.
Group F
- Germany
- Mexico
- Sweeden
- South Korea
The Champion is here, Group F is leaded by "The Mannschaft", the last FIFA World Cup winner. Germany´s National Team is (in my opinion) the favorite to win (again) this event. Leaded by Joachim Löw, Germany presents one of the most balanced and talented football teams, with important players on every line of the squad (like Brazil for example). we have players like: Ter-Stegen (Barcelona) who probably will be the official goalkeeper of Germany, Hector (Colonia FC) an amazing player with awesome speed and game perspective, Toni Kroos (Real Madrid) who was one of the top midfielders of this past season, Julian Draxler (Paris Saint-Germain), who matches speed and skills on the offensive, Marco Reus that is expecting to be in a World Cup and show his talent to the world, and my player to have on the look: Timo Werner (Leipzig FC), a young star of germany that probably will be one of the spotlights of this World Cup. Also in this Group is Mexico, who presents a well known team, with great names and expected great appearances: The "Dos Santos Brothers" Gio and Jonathan (LA Galaxy), who in the past couple of years have shown a great game level, teaming up with Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez (West Ham), Andres Guardado (Real Betis) and Carlos Vela (LA Galaxy). All 3 of them are great and very talented players to have on our watch and probably they´ll make the difference in favor of Mexico on this event.
Group G
- Belgium
- Panama
- Tunisia
- England
This Group presents also one of my candidates to the trophy, Belgium. Ranked 4th on the FIFA Top Football Countries, Belgium features a great amount of football stars like Eden Hazard (Chelsea) who is without a doubt my player to look out on this group, with his explosive speed and great skills that can tear and entire defense line apart; Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) the brains of the operation, great passing hability and field perspective (also great power shot), Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United) with pure power and goal skills, Mousa Dembélé (Tottenham Hotspur) with a great game skills, speed and excellent season with his club and Ferreira Carrasco (Atlético de Madrid) one of the football expected star "to be. All of them against the new England National Team featuring Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and his amazing speed, power and goal skills (one of the players to look out on this World Cup), Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur) awesome offensive player and the young Alexander Arnold (Liverpool) who has an incredible power and field vision (also with a great season with his club). The Surprise for this Group, after the last match agains Spain, The Tunisia National Team gives us: Ferjani Sassi (Al-Nassr FC) who is expected to be the figure of his national team on this World Cup. Look Out for this last player because he is obviouly looking to mark the difference in this group.
Group H
- Poland
- Senegal
- Colombia
- Japan
And last but not least, Group H, featuring Robert Lewandowski´s Poland National Team. The current Bayern Munich player is the star of the team and hopefully will take this oportunity to show one more time his goal skills. In this group also is one of this season best players: Senegal´s player, Sadio Mané (Liverpool). Mané features power, goal skills, speed and great offense perspective that makes him my player to look out on this group. And here it is Colombia with his Captain and best player: James Rodrìguez (Bayern Munich) that mixes speed, field perspective and power shot, enough to make him a threat to all the other teams. With him: Radamel Falcao (Monaco FC) great and forgotten player who looks for redemption on this World Cup.
I am sure that This will be the Best FIFA World Cup we have ever seen. The teams, the players, the show, everything sets up for this to be one of the greatest events of all time. If you ask me personally i have 3 or maybe 4 candidates for this trophy: Germany, Brazil, Belgium and Spain. But we have to wait untill the official kick-off on June 14.
¿Wich players will make the difference?
¿Wich teams will pass through the group phase?
