The Bulls hung tough forcing two overtimes before finally succumbing to the Pelicans, led by 44 points, 24 rebounds and 10 assists from Demarcus Cousins. Jerian Grant had 22 points and 13 assists for the Bulls in the close contest.
Lauri Markkanen also continued to impress for Chicago, collecting 14 points and 17 rebounds in 40 minutes of action.
The Bulls will look to bounce back on Wednesday 1/24/2018 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Always up and down with the young team but things are definitely looking up overall.
