These are assorted images from Boy Scott Road in Lacombe, LA. It's part of the Big Branch Marsh Wildlife Refuge.
I first visited this nature trail on March 10th of this year, biking along the entire extent of the trail.
The trail is approximately 2.5 miles long in total, 5 miles there and back, with a 1/4 mile board walk on top of the marsh.
The nature trail comes to an abrupt end along the shore of Bayou Lacombe, perhaps the largest bayou in St. Tammany Parish.
