What follows are just the notes, a further review is coming at a later time.
Stephanie McMahon coming to do commentary, hope its a joke, prepare to lower volume in case it isn't.
If Stephanie enters the rumble I hope she loses teeth. If she wins I'm boycotting the Mania match.
Number one and two are Sasha and Becky respectively. Sasha is a complete and total misuse of spot one, that should have been Asuka. If Asuka isn't number one and loses then the WWE screwed up over two years of booking.
Stephanie forgot that you have to go over the top rope to be eliminated and Cole had to say something.
To be fair, I chuckled when Stephanie told Graves to settle down.
Stephanie just mentioned Chyna, two mentions in a week? Is this the year for Chyna to make the HOF?
Kairi Sane!!! Gone far too soon. :(
Stephanie, not good at predicting moves, even obvious ones.
Stephanie, two problems this time, her banter sucks and the other commentators seem afraid to heckle her, and she says wow and acts surprised during things wrestlers do every match they get. Does she even watch the product?
Rusev Day chants for Lana. :)
Useless legend emlinates three newbies who need to be put over, and another legend in quick succession
Vicky annoying scream shows up. Biggest waste of space yet. May need new speakers.
Was Kelly Kelly's first minute all botch? Also, another spot wasted on a “legend.”
Jacqueline, another, you guessed it, wasted space.
Naomi is now the Kofi of the women's division.
Beth Phoenix, not a useless legend, her experience in the men's rumble makes this actually a good legend to bring back.
Asuka at 25 is a waste of an extremely good story where she enters at 1 and wins.
Asuka no sold an eclipse. Weird all around.
A Bella, another wasted space. God damn.
A Bella, another wasted space. Double damn.
Bayley, who would have been best served, and among those possibly best served, by a long showing in the rumble, enters at 29.
And the crowd pops to another useless entry. Cheap pops over storylines is the mantra of the women's rumble.
Useless legends make for wasted eliminations.
Sasha turns heel on Bayley, or read that another way, Bayley gets buried in the first ever women's rumble.
Another elimination stolen by a non-entity.
Sasha plays heel again, Cory plays up her history of betrayal.
Nikki eliminates her sister which not only proves Nikki is the inferior sister and she knows it, but is also another wasted elimination.
Not only was Asuka winning the only possible option when it was only her and the Bellas, but the ending was particularly weak.
Announcers kept saying “this is about Wrestlemania.” Wrong. You know whats bigger than a women's match at mania? The first ever women's Royal Rumble.
So I'm all psyched with both champions in the ring and Asuka deciding which to face, I'm expecting her to say “both!” Then Rousey comes out and I suddenly know with crushing certainty that women's wrestling is over. But at least we get more concession time. (I personally hate every one of you who cheered for her)
Rousey, without earning anything, comes out, steals Asuka's moment, makes the less than spectacular ending of the inaugural women's rumble worse, and points at the mania sign. Jesus Christ. D:
And Carmella didn't win. :*(
It didn't Matter if Auska came in at 1 or Number 30 she was Booked to win that match weeks ago. Seeing as the female roster is the smaller roster and the on the heels of RAW25 You can't tell me that you were not expecting Those Show and tell female suerstars last Monday was not WWE saying here is our Rumble fill out
The dirtsheets had reported that most of the unannounced spots were going to be used for NXT stars, younger, fresh talent that needs exposure. And popular opinion was that Asuka was going to be number one and last to win it all, a dominant showing that would be in line with her character.
