After winning by a whopping 41 points in Game 3 the Warriors will go in to game 4 extremely confident of going up 3 games to 1 in the series and seemingly insurmountable lead. The scary thing for the Rockets is that they played Stephen Curry back in to form in Game 3 when he went on a 3 point avalanche and exposed James Hardens defense in a bad way. The Rockets and Harden and CP3 are also carrying scars from last years playoff fade out for Harden in Houston and CP3s poor career playoff record.
The Warriors are unbelievably good home team near unbeatable at Oracle Arena and for me this spells big trouble for the Rockets in Game 4 and in this series, if they go down 3-1 i give them no chance of coming back and winning in 7 it just wont happen. They will be desperate to go back to Houston at 2-2 but i think they will be carrying some mental weight after Game 3, for me the player that needs to step is Chris Paul he has had a very quiet series so far and he will be feeling the pressure of past failures. Maybe the Rockets need to get the ball in his hands a bit more early and let him get everyone in to the game, similar to how the Cavs have used Lebron.
Sold out Oracle with the fans going nuts i just dont see a way for the Rockets past the Ws in Game 4, i am predicting another blow out to a smaller scale, maybe Warriors by 16, then seemed locked in defensively which is key to there success. More questions marks to come after this game as to the mettle of Harden and CP3 as well i feel.
I also believe the warriors win tonight they seem like they are starting to hit their stride now
Excellent post!
