New England is the standard for "Good Teams" 8 of 16 years in the Superbowl and 12 of 16 in AFC championship game. This year they are a notch below good yet the beat KC, Houston and will likely beat Pitt this week. But losing to Detroit, Tenn, Miami just plain knocks them down a peg.
Chicago has a long way to go to be considered in the same discussion....
Hopefully this is the start of the Bears being in the conversation. But considering how terrible they have been for over a decade, it's nice to to have something to cheer for.
