maybe Wilder team was just using their 'offer' to smoke out a bigger one from Hearn, and it looks like it has worked! I think Wilder's team understand Joshua is the A side and that the fight will have to be in the UK to being in the biggest numbers for both sides. If the fight could be drawn out for another 1-2 years then I think it could be PPV material in Vegas, but right now Wilder and Joshua are not really on the radar of casual boxing fans in the US. If Wilder beats Joshua I think the rematch would be in Vegas
