What do I expect for the coming NBA season? here are my predictions!

Unfortunately we still have to wait for close to two months before we can enjoy the NBA season again. By now most trades are done and the NBA teams are fully focused on the season that is ahead of us.
Like last year I will give you my predictions for the season. it’s my way to create some more excitement and getting myself focused and prepared for the season. Last season is was able to travel to California and watch some great NBA games. This season I am trying to plan a trip again (hope the Cryptos will bounce back). And like many of you know I had a season seat of the Raptors when I was living in Toronto. So with around 60 games under my belt I hope you like my predictions. Don’t forget to comment on what you think.
Ready for part 1!?

All-star game
Let’s starts with a game even further away from us. The All-star game in February, with the Lebron James move there will be no Team Lebron- Team Stephen anymore! So who will fill his spot in the East? And will DeMar DeRozan be strong enough so to be selected in the West?

I do believe DeMar will be an All-star in the West, I sure the great Spurs coach will make sure he can play in his strength
But who will be the new star in the East? And the one they name captain of the team? Will it be Kyrie, Embiid, Giannis or Khawi?
I believe the east will belong to Giannis Antetokounmpo this year and expect him to be the brightest star in the East.

Surprise team that will make the play-offs
Last year I predicted that the Sixers would made it to the Play-offs, did not bet on it. But I was sure they would make it. So I could have earned myself some money. This year the quote of them making the play-offs won’t be high so what will be me surprise prediction this year?

Will it be Cleveland without Lebron? The Knicks or Nets? My pick will be a little more on the save sight but I predict the Pistons to make the play-offs this year. So I think this year I will put my money on the Pistons to squeeze into the postseason.

Biggest surprise
Every year in the NBA there will be some pleasant surprises and some teams will really benefit the breakout season some players will have or will just find offense or defense of a surprise contributor.
Last year we had Lou Williams scoring outburst, Clint Capela showing his potential and many other fun developments.
This year I will give a household name the benefit of the doubt. I really believe that Dwight Howard will be a big factor for the Wizards. That may come as a surprise especially if you look at his last few NBA stops. But putting him in the pick and roll with Wall will really benefit his game. I therefore believe he will be a double- double treat every night again.

What do you think about my fist predictions? Many more to come to keep you occupied during the wait until next season.
Can the Warriors do it again? Will Carmelo help the Rockets to the final? Will the move of Toronto pay off? So many more questions to answer.

I cant wait for the season to start. #WeTheNorth

hope the have a strong season! feel sorry for DeMar still!!

Oh trust me, everyone is still hurt that Masai betrayed the only star that was loyal to Toronto. Time will heal and I've been wearing my Derozan jerseys all summer, and will even wear it to my first Raptors game, sorry Kawaii.

DeRozan is good player, but Raptors never performed great in post season because they never had a top10 player, Demar is great, but not top10. Now they have Kawhi, I think they can challenge Boston and 76ers if his mindset will be with Toronto next year.

I think the East will be headlined by Kyrie or Giannis. Team Kyrie v. Team LeBron would be one hell of a headline for the ASG though. If the Pistons make the Playoffs I think it's as the 8th seed, maybe 7th if Casey can teach defense and emphasize FT% for Drummond. As for Howard, I would like to see him play well, he did well in Charlotte stats wise, but he has a big ego, and wants to be the alpha. Washington is John Wall's team, if Howard can accept that, then he will do well as he is a huge improvement from Gortat.

so excited for this year! maybe even more so for next with all the free agents. Toronto Raptors fan so do like Casey a lot. just looked into the shedule and looking into maybe visit some games this year again. otherwise the London game is good, but not the reall deal. do you go to games yourself?

I do, I usually do a 10-game plan for the Sixers through the organization, and then tickets to any other games I fee like going to. Casey was a good coach, can;t blame him for having to deal with LeBron every year. Not many teams can take him down when he takes over. It will be interesting to see how he does out West with some more formidable teams like Houston, GS, New Orlean, San Antonio (maybe) and Utah.
