Great analysis. Funny. I agree. Of course, there is also the ego issue when players can't get along with each other and no matter how much money is offered they end up either leaving or ruining the team.
But, for the most part money talks and team owners and general managers, like studio producers who think they know better than directors, tend to make lousy decisions that ruin the show.

The ego thing is a huge part of it for sure. that is especially true with this team as it seems Butler and Towns can't get along.
