The Impact Of Myles Garrett
The Cleveland Browns had the luxury of taking Myles Garret, the first player taken in the 2017 NFL draft, which seemed to be the unanimous pick by most analysts. He was a force for Texas A&M last year racking up 8.5 Sacks and 15 Tackles for a loss. The 6 foot 5 Inch, 271Lb lineman figures to be a force on the Browns "new and improved" defense. Garrett received a handsome payday, signing a four-year, $30.4 million deal with a $20.3 million signing bonus. Garret posted an incredible combine performance with the following results:
Bench Press:33 Reps(225Lbs)
40 Yard Dash: 4.64 Seconds
Vertical Jump: 41 Inches
Below are his combine highlights:

Future For The Brown Defense Looking Unusually Decent?
While Garret was already the unanimous number 1 pick before the combine, his results only made the Browns more comfortable with choosing him. The Browns added play makers this off season on defense including Jamie Collins, Jabril Peppers, Jason McCourty and Calvin Pryor. I think they'll surprise teams this year on defense pulling up there usual bottom 5 defense into a respectable top 16-20 which is good improvement for year 1. What do you think? Leave a comment below!
