 -The FIFA World Cup is the most important international football competition organized by the International Football Association (FIFA)

 -The tournament was first held in 1930 and the World Cup is held every four years, with the exception of the 1942 and 1946 Championships, which were canceled due to the Second World War

 -The tournament was held 21 times, 78 countries participated in the finals, and the number of teams that have so far won 8 teams

 -The Brazilian team is the most crowned champion, winning 5 times: 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002. Followed by Italy 4, in 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006, with four times in 1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014, followed by Uruguay, Argentina and France with two trophies. While England and Spain won the tournament once.

Italy are the first team to win the championship twice in 1934 and 1938. Uruguay, England and Spain were able to win the championship without a final loss, and the Netherlands are among the most important teams to reach the final without winning the tournament with 3 times.

 -Europe and South America dominate the FIFA World Cup, and have not won the title since the tournament was established.

 -The biggest win in the World Cup was the victory of Hungary in a 10-1 victory over El Salvador in the 1982 World Cup

We really honored French football star Zinedine Zidane when France won the World Cup in 2006 because it was the reason for her win.
