Why they spend so much money to build buildings that don't get use after the games, makes no sense to me. It is really sad. Here are some photos I've gathered. There are happily some buildings that were not abandoned and are still in use such as in Nagana, Japan; Barcelona, Spain; Mexico City, Mexico; Los Angeles, CA (used twice in the 30s and 80s and still runs); London, England; and Sydney, Australia.
However, to see the images below is quite sad.

I've been to the ones in Barcelona and they are still very cool and useful. The indoor stadium still regularly gets used for conferences, concerts, and other large scale events.
So sad to see these marvels going unused. There are so many things that they could be used for. Some entrepreneur will figure something out.
