As a heavyweight, it's very hard to go on a long winning streak, the punches thrown in that division are deadly. The belt changes hands constantly there. Bigger they are, harder they fall. But somehow Fedor Emelianenko won 27 fights in a row. Marking him as the greatest heavyweight champion to ever do it!
Calm and collective Russian hitman if you ask me. In his prime, nobody could do a damn thing about it. He had all the tools to finish you!
In 2012 he also replaced the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev as a staff member of Russia's Council on Physical Fitness & Sports. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Life was good.
NOTHING LASTS FOREVER!
Born on 28th of September 1976 in Russia. He began his MMA journey the year 2000. Prior to that, he trained martial arts pretty much his whole life. Sambo and judo to be precise. When he started competing in MMA, he was unstoppable. One of a kind war machine with an unlimited gas tank and ammo.
But every run usually comes to an end. Maybe aging was the factor, or he just wasn't hungry anymore. After suffering 3 straight defeats, Fedor took a hiatus from mixed martial arts for some time. But since then came back strong, winning his last 5 fights.
His MMA record is 36W-4L-1NC(NoContest) .
UPCOMING EVENT: BELLATOR 180
JUNE 24, 2017 Madison Square Garden, New York.
He faces the dangerous Matt Mitrione. Believe me, he is no joke. This is going to be a great fight. Actually, the whole fight card is stacked. Even if you're not an MMA fan, you should most definitely watch this event! I will also make my predictions a week before the event. It's gonna be epic guys!!!

Fedor is the amazing ! he is a true fighter with a large arsenal of tools... it is such a contrast between his quietness and humbleness outside the ring and the killer instinct in the ring.. one man show!

YEAH he is the WARLORD, but we saw in the previous fight, Fabio Maldonado cracked him and Fedor was on unsteady rubbery legs. If that fight was anywhere else in the world, it would be stopped!

Well kinda Fedor won, but was later overturned to a draw or to a no contest can't remember it.. Fabio almost killed him if you ask me ... It needed to be over then.
